Member Agreement: Services listed by BEYOND BARTER are for the benefit only of members and their minor children living with them: use of BEYOND BARTER services by other persons (including but not limited to spouses) is not authorized or sanctioned by BEYOND BARTER. Any person who accepts a BEYOND BARTER service will indemnify and hold harmless the person or persons who perform the service, and also BEYOND BARTER and its administrators and agents, with respect to any claims, demands, or liability arising directly or indirectly from the performance of the service, however said claims, demands, or liability may be caused, including but not limited to negligence, either active or passive. Although published examples of current services are accurate to the best ability of the BEYOND BARTER staff, any service may be withdrawn at any time, and applicants are therefore urged not to join for any particular service or services. A new regular member without prior membership of any kind has thirty days in which to examine the Membership Rules, during which time the member may resign with full refund should any rule be unacceptable (or for any other reason), as laid out in the published guarantee. Moreover, in any subsequent ten-day period following notice of a new rule or rule modification to which a regular member expressly objects in writing, the member may resign with full refund unless (a) either the rule or modification is withdrawn or changed to meet the stated objection, or (b) the objecting member is exempted from its application. BEYOND BARTER makes no representation as to whether or not sharing of services under its auspices may constitute barter for purposes of determining tax liability. The discounted annual fee extended to a cohabitant will never increase, providing only that both memberships remain active and that both members continue to share the same domicile. Materials sent to BEYOND BARTER by mail cannot be returned, unless special arrangements have been made. Knowingly false statements made in connection with an application for membership may result in rejection of the membership and the concomitant forfeiture of fifty dollars of the fee paid, to offset the cost of processing and investigation. Member testimonials that may be volunteered may be published with attribution at the discretion of the Administrator; submission of a testimonial carries with it permission to publish. BEYOND BARTER reserves the right to reject a membership application for any reason whatsoever. I will freely give services as I've indicated, up to the maximum stipulated above. I certify that the information I've provided is accurate in every detail. I agree to inform BEYOND BARTER in advance of any changes in that information,* and to abide by the online Membership Rules to which I will have been directed. I may resign at any time, with full refund if within 30 days of acceptance of my membership, in accordance with the terms of the online guarantee. *I understand that my membership obliges me to provide in full the services I listed above. If circumstances should force me to narrow my services I should plan on offering one or more additional services to compensate. Although the Administrator will make every effort to accommodate requests for change, any such changes that are not approved will result in loss of membership without refund.
